Announcing our "Silver Soirée" Opening October 26th
Gallery owners Bill and Linda Renc are hosting a “Silver Soirée” Anniversary reception on Saturday, October 26 from 5:00- 8:00 p.m. to celebrate The Painted Fish Gallery’s 25th season in downtown Dunedin. The gallery recently moved to their new location at Waterfront Shoppes at Victoria Place at 200 Main Street, across from Dunedin Marina and Edgewater Park.
Bill's oil paintings focus on water birds, fish, marine life, and Gulf Coast landscapes in oil. Linda is a long-time calligrapher whose artworks reflect her interest in literature, poetry and nature themes. Along with their daughter Christine Renc-Carter, a mixed-media artist, printmaker and currently Curator at the Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art, the Renc family invites the public to come see new artworks, enjoy festive refreshments, with live music outdoors by contemporary singer/songwriter Lea Braun. Casual dress. New works by wood-carver Ronald L May, fiber artist Sharon Bottle Souva and functional pottery by Carol Kohnke have recently been added to the collection. We'll add photos soon!
